Telecom Italia Seeks to Spin Off Its Landline Grid

Italy's telecommunications regulator may decide this coming week whether to support a proposal to rescue Telecom Italia, the troubled former telephone monopoly, by allowing it to spin off a stake in its landline grid, the largest in Italy.
